A sound bath is a deeply immersive and unique full-body listening experience, where you are "bathed" in beautiful resonant sound waves--no, you won't get wet! You will lie down often on a yoga mat or sit in a comfortable chair, close your eyes, listen and allow the cascading tones and deep vibrations from unique instruments like beautiful crystal sound bowls, delicate chimes or ocean drums to envelop your entire being. This intentional soundscape effortlessly guides your mind away from its busy, active state and toward a profoundly deep, restful calm, helping to quiet your mind and promote a feeling of deep serenity. It's an inviting way to release tension and restore a sense of harmony within your body and spirit. Many people leave feeling refreshed, centered and completely peaceful.

How long do sessions last?

Our sessions typically last between 50-60 minutes, allowing ample time for relaxation and meditation. However, sessions may be adjusted to meet each clients needs.

Who can attend a sound bath?

This space is dedicated to creating private sacred sound baths primarily for women's groups. However, we also offer private sessions for couples and host occasional public sound baths that are open to all individuals. To ensure a peaceful and focused environment, all participants must be 14 or older and accompanied by a parent or guardian if under 18.

Do I need to bring anything? What should I wear?

We highly recommend bringing a yoga mat, blanket, pillow and water for comfort during the session. Some individuals also bring eye masks, knee bolsters or camping sleeping pads.

Are guided meditations offered?

Yes they are! Our guided meditation sound baths offer a beautiful fusion of two practices. Your facilitators voice will guide you into a state of relaxation, followed by the soothing immersive sounds of the instruments. This beautiful journey helps you quiet your mind and body, helping you find a deeper sense of peace and clarity.

Wear loose fitting, comfortable clothing that allows you to fully relax during the sound bath experience.

Where do you host your sound bath sessions?

Located in North County San Diego, California, Stillness of Sound services most of the cities considered to be in the north county area of San Diego such as San Marcos, Escondido, Vista, Oceanside, Carlsbad, and Poway just to name a few.

We bring the experience to you! Sound baths are usually held at a host's home. For our public community sessions, we select comfortable and peaceful event spaces to create a relaxing atmosphere. Visit our sessions page to explore the sound baths we offer.
